The grand style of dining reached its height at the turn of the 19th century. One of the more popular table items was an epergne centerpiece. Our reproduction is made of a traditional, lead crystal. A sturdy center column is supported by a faceted round base. Four glass arms in a twist pattern support glass baskets perfect for candies and treats that hang by a silver plated swing handle. The whole is topped with a large, scalloped-edge center bowl suitable for fruit, a big bouquet of flowers, or seasonal greens.
