Le Jardin Tea Table
Our Queen Anne Style tray top tea table is elegantly hand-painted with a whimsical garden scene. A bird in flight anchors the center, while butterflies and beautiful flowers scroll around the top as if floating on air. The scalloped apron is also decorated with a pair of song birds. On gently tapered legs, this solid wood table has a black rubbed background with an array of yellows, greens and blues. Although paint decorated furniture reached its height during the last half of the 18th century, this traditional European design remains a classic.
