Du Barry Commode
Our petit Louis XV commode is hand-crafted of American White Oak. With hardwood secondaries, dove-tailed drawers and a hand-pegged top, our imported commode is made using old world bench made traditions. True to this popular French provincial style, the top has a beautiful molded edge and the bottom drawer has a shaped apron that flows into the graceful curve of the cabriole legs. Finished in a lustrous aged tobacco, the deep grain of the oak is wonderfully showcased. Bronze hardware including a key and tassel add to the antique heirloom quality of this piece. Perfectly scaled for use beside a bed or seating area in any room of the house.
