The graceful lines of our Klismos-inspired Lydia painted side chair are enhanced with delicate hand-painted details evocative of the early 19th century. The leaf and berry motif decorates the stiles, legs and apron of the chair while a heraldic crest with an undulating blue ribbon forms the main focal point of the top rail. Delicate hand stringing follows the outline and the open fretwork is highlighted with hand-rubbed gold leaf. The solid wood frame is hand-carved and decorated for us in a soft celadon green with accents of leaf green, gold and umber. A cut velvet polka dot fabric, in tones of moss, taupe, and aqua covers the seat, completing the look of this charming chair.
