Lion Tilt-Top Dining Table
This expertly crafted mahogany tilt-top table has a flame veneered top and brass accents inspired by a Regency period original. The mahogany veneered top is joined in eight pie-shaped sections for a stunning effect. Hand-crafted, each table has its own unique characteristics. Eight solid brass classically inspired lion's head cartouches adorn the apron. The top is finished with a beveled edge and a cross-banded border. Our table is supported by a turned urn shaped pedestal style base with four splayed legs. Each leg is capped with superb cast solid brass Renaissance style recumbent lion, brimming with naturalistic detail; each with an articulated mane and bared teeth. The table top tilts and locks for ease of transportation.
