Eco-Friendly Our George IV style arm chair is perfect for a cozy fireside, sunny reading corner or relaxed conversation. Supremely comfortable and generously proportioned, our chair has a beautifully curved beech wood frame accented with cane panels and a 5" thick seat cushion. The loose cushions are upholstered in a cotton & linen paisley print in tones of Venetian red, golden ochre, mulberry and deep celadon, all on wheat-colored background. This handsome chair boasts a rolled back and scrolled arms adorned with hand-carved acanthus leaves. The turned front legs repeat the acanthus motif detail and have a bead and reed design while the back legs are slightly canted. Available also is a matching caned recumbent ottoman with four turned legs capped with button finials and a tie-on cushion. Upholstered in the United States by a family-owned company using sustainable forestry practices, our Darcey Library Chair & Ottoman are both heirloom quality pieces of furniture.
