Palermo Cocktail Table
Although perfected by 17th century Italian stone masons, marquetry was also used in fine wood furniture designs across Europe. Our cocktail table shares deep roots with its southern city's namesake and continues the tradition of fine craftsmanship and classical design. The flourishes of the intricate inlaid table top are formed of cherry, gemelina and walnut veneers while the substantial base, cross-stretcher and legs are made of welded iron with an antiqued bronzed patina. Finished in a slightly distressed warm honey brown, the top also has a slightly raised and carved edge, adding to the rich details of this piece.
