Spool Settee
Brimming with old world charm, our spool turned settee brings both the warmth of wood and the idyllic charm of an English garden into your seating area. Our unassuming and ultra-comfortable settee is inspired by the classic Cottage Style of the 18th and 19th centuries; a trend that gained popularity both here and abroad. We have covered our version in beautiful floral printed linen brimming with tulips, roses and Sweet William in tones of soft green, blush, gold and a touch of lavender. Each cushion is sumptuously trimmed in a coordinating deep rose-colored textured chenille welt. Finished in a light mahogany, the solid Beech wood frame is hand-crafted using traditional techniques; the continuously repeating bulbous turning is reminiscent of rows of spools. The spool detail repeats on the front two legs, terminating in solid brass casters. The seat cushions are wrapped with a down blend, while the back cushions are all goose down & feather filled for that "sink-in" cozy feeling. Made to order in the United States, our settee has eight-way hand tied springs for the ultimate in comfort seating and durability.
