Tyrol Divan
Our luxurious backless sofa, or, divan, is covered in a fawn-colored stain resistant fabric with the soft feel of suede, trimmed with 3-tone fawn cording. The skirting is embroidered with a flowing design of stylized vine, leaves and mountain flowers in a shade of silvery birch bark. The large 21" x 35" pillows are reversible with the embroidered accent on one side, and solid fawn color on the other. They are trimmed with a 3-tone looped chenille and silken fringe. A matching brush fringe surrounds the smaller 16" x 28" basketweave cream chenille pillow. These splendid pillows with gathered Turkish corners can either be piled up at either end of the daybed or, if the divan is set against a wall (as shown here), used to create a comfortable back rest. Each divan is custom-made by respected furniture makers, hand-crafting upholstered furniture since 1845.
