Brightwood Walnut Games Table
Throughout history, board games have brought people together for both merriment and a little friendly competition. We celebrate and encourage this gathering of friends and family with our Brightwood Walnut Games Table. Based on a 17th century design, the table has four barley twist legs connected by a sinuous X-form cross stretcher with a centered classical urn. The table's flemish-styling is further enhanced by a beautiful inlaid chestnut-colored leather middle panel with a hand-tooled scrollwork border and center medallion. Reversing to a chess/checkers board with inlaid contrasting burled wood, the center panel also slides out on brass rails to reveal a backgammon board with side channels for disks and dice. Our table comes with hand-carved wooden checker and chess pieces. Two deep side drawers store game pieces, cards, coasters or whatever you need to keep tucked away. Polished to a mellow glow, the slightly antiqued finish allows this table to fit in with your finest antiques or in a casual game room.
