Our oval mirror, in the graceful design typical of Adam period oval mirrors, is handmade and hand-finished in giltwood. Robert Adam introduced to 18th century English furnishing and design decorative motifs such as urns, swags and medallions. His influence was widespread both in England and in America . A neo-classical urn in a cool stone grey offset with gilt designs crowns our beveled mirror.
