This bugling mature bull elk bronze cast is a reproduction of an original by the famous French sculptor P.J. Mene, whose work resides in the Louvre and other museums. The beautiful details, including the animal's hide, mane, muscular stature and the stony ground at his feet, are all enhanced by the rubbed black patina. The elk stands on a veined, black marble base with a beaded edge.
