Eglomise Chippendale Pedestals

The 18th century technique of applying squares of silver leaf on the reverse side of glass, called "eglomise," is combined here with Chinese Chippendale-style fretwork on our 16" square pedestals. Hand-crafted of solid Acadia wood, the fretwork has a black satin matte finish and gold leaf decoration. We offer these extremely stable pedestals in two heights: 48" with three bays of fretwork, or 36" with two bays. A wonderful way to display porcelain, sculpture, or prized plants.
