Enrobed in a beautiful Victorian floral shawl, this young girl cradles her favorite rabbit. Atop her tussled, highlighted curls, a sun hat protects her precious rosy-cheeked face. In the background, a stacked stone wall and wild vines typical of the English countryside surrounds her in a secret garden. Her pensive demeanor and youthful appearance is captured beautifully with this hand-textured canvas transfer originally painted by Frederick S. Beaumont. A solid wood, 19th century style frame with deeply carved acanthus leaves finished with a brushed antiqued gold patina surrounds the canvas.
